Does the sign "CAUTION WET FLOORS" give you grief every time it's displayed? TileSafe has the solutions that will allow you to breath a little more easily. TileSafe Tile and Tub Treatment is a slip resistant treatment for Ceramic Tile, Natural Stone floors, tubs and showers. It is safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. It is also invisible to the naked eye, will not alter the appearance of either the tile or grout, has no harmful effects on the surface; and provides maximum slip-resistant safe footing on wet floor surfaces that exceed safety standards mandated by OSHA and The Americans with Disabilities Act.
TileSafe Tile and Tub Treatment is a mop on - rinse off solution that microscopically treads the surface of ceramic tile, quarry, terrazzo, natural stone surfaces and fiberglass or porcelain tubs and shower enclosures to help prevent slippery conditions on wet floors and surfaces.
This one-time application "mop on-rinse off" chemical solution, leaves an invisible "tread like" pattern, or "footprint", on the surface being treated.
When properly applied and maintained, treated surfaces will have a slip coefficient exceeding ADA/OSHA slip-fall safety codes.
TileSafe Tile and Tub Treatment is not used on vinyl, linoleum, wood, metal, coated or sealed surfaces. Care should be taken to protect carpets, molding and other flooring materials.
Coverage: 1 gallon will cover approximately 200 square feet, 10 bathtubs, or 2 to 3 rooms (tubs and tile) depending on surface being treated.
Use TileSafe Cleaner-Degreaser as a slip-fall preventive maintenance program.
Use TileSafe Cleaner or Shower Scrub to remove all soil, grease, oil, or shower scum. Mop or pour TileSafe Tile and Tub Treatment on small area to test. Agitate wet surface with a mop or stiff brush. Let stand 2 - 5 minutes. With firm foot or hand pressure, test surface for slip-resistance. Resistance should be dramatic. Do not let solution dry on surface. Reapply if needed. Maximum slip-resistance is attained within 2 - 5 minutes depending on hard mineral surface material. Treat remaining area in sections that can be mopped, brushed, and thoroughly rinsed clean of solution in the same time frame as test area. Rinse treated area with clean water to remove all treatment solution.
Porcelain and fiberglass application: Porcelain and fiberglass surfaces require a little more time for TileSafe Slip-Resistant Tile and Tub Treatment to treat. Optimum time to attain maximum slip-resistance has been determined to be between 4 and 8 minutes.
