TileSafes Slip-Resistant Tile Treatment was conceived and developed by Ron Leonard in 1996 to answer the need for slip and fall accident protection on wet tile floor surfaces.
TileSafe gained momentum and credibility with the development of the one time application mop on-rinse off chemical solution that leaves an invisible "Tread Like" pattern, or "Footprint", on ceramic tile and other hard mineral materials, including quarry tile, marble, slate, stone and concrete. The treatment solution has no harmful effects on the tile and provides maximum slip-resistant safe footing on wet floor surfaces that far exceed safety standards mandated by OSHA and The Americans with Disabilities Act.
Product testing with the University of Washington, McDonalds restaurants and the City of Seattle, proved TileSafes Tile Treatment to be an inexpensive and viable answer to slip and fall accidents on wet floor surfaces. Acceptance and marketability of TileSafes Tile Treatment was established when the owner of one of the largest McDonalds franchises west of the Mississippi ordered 24 restaurants TileSafes treated to address industry-wide awareness of slip-fall accident liability.
Companion products have been developed to enhance TileSafes as the eminent name in slip-fall accident protection. A restaurant-strength cleaner-degreaser, and also a shower and bathtub cleaner, are maintenance products that assure long-term accident prevention.
All TileSafes products are environmentally safe, non-toxic, and odorless.
TileSafe continues to develop additional products for an expanding marketplace. TileSafes Restoration is a product that will clean and restore grimy old floor surfaces without the need for harsh acids that can create a hazardous situation. TileSafes Marine Treatment addresses the rampant silp-fall accident problems inherent with wet fiberglass boat decks, walkways, galleys, and showers. TileSafes Marine is also applicable on fiber-glass and concrete docks.
TileSafe continues to expand a quality line of cleaning products to meet the demands of the Restaurant-Hotel industries.
